I just ran across the Conduct Team-Based Development of Windows SharePoint Services and SharePoint Portal Server Applications technical paper. This is an “update” to Team Development with Visual Studio .NET and Visual SourceSafe paper and deals with the difference between developing a web application and a SharePoint application. For those that have not done much SharePoint development might not have felt the pain of team-based or remote SharePoint development. This technical article might take the sting out of it for some. I wish I had this paper available to reference a few projects ago.
